How often should you see a dental hygienist?
Most patients will be advised to see a hygienist at Tranquil Dental every 6 months. However, we might recommend more frequent visits if you have gum disease, braces or more complex oral health issues.
I have sensitive teeth – will my dental hygiene appointment be painful?
Not at all. Our hygienists are trained to work with patients who are nervous or who have sensitive teeth. We’ll always work at a gentle pace for you and even offer treatments, like air polishing, that are kinder on teeth and gums!
