One of the reasons patients choose to have Invisalign treatment at Tranquil Dental is because we can use 3D digital scanning technology to create a preview of how your smile could potentially look before starting treatment!

You’ll Be Given Several Sets Of Aligners

Unlike metal braces, you won’t need to visit our dental practice in Wokingham every time your teeth need adjusting. Instead, you’ll be given several sets of custom-made Invisalign aligners to take home. You’ll wear each set for approx. one to two weeks before changing to the next.

Don’t worry, we’ll still see you for regular progress appointments, but a lot of your treatment will happen from the comfort of your own home!

You’ll Wear Your Aligners For 20-22 Hours A Day

Consistency is key. The more you follow the treatment plan, the better (and quicker) your results will be! Because the aligners are clear and custom-fit, you’ll find that wearing them easily becomes part of your daily routine.

You’ll Forget Your Wearing Them

Many of our patients expect their Invisalign aligners to feel strange, maybe even painful! But this couldn’t be further from the truth. Your custom-fit clear aligners are made from a flexible plastic making them one of the most comfortable ways to straighten your smile!

You might feel slight pressure each time you switch to a new set of aligners, but that’s a sign that they’re working to gently move your teeth into their desired position. Before long, you’ll barely notice that you’re wearing them.

You’ll Remove Them To Eat & Brush

Unlike fixed braces, Invisalign doesn’t come with food restrictions! You can simply remove your aligners before eating or drinking anything other than water, enjoy your meal, brush your teeth and then pop them back in afterwards. Simple!
